Love these People

Here's picture from more normal life. It's funny how many times I can look at the girls and it never gets old. They're so cute to their mom.

It took almost three years, but Lucy likes her bed. And is finally consistently sleeping through the night. She also happens to love the pj's she's wearing in this picture. The only way I can talk her into wearing something else is if I insist these ones are dirty. She turning into a really girly girl.

I don't know how she gets her shirts off. But she does.

This is what happens on days when we get bored.

I took a picture of Mary just because I thought she was cute.

Next thing I know Lucy is standing in front of the camera telling me to take her picture. You're cute too Lucy.

Lucy helping grandpa drill...something. This is why she thinks she can poor the milk in her cereal, "aaaaaalll by myself!!"

We had to say good bye to Heather/Anna for a whole 18 months. We're proud of her and know she will do great in San Jose. I LOVE these pictures of Lucy with Heather. That night when I was putting her to bed I asked her what had made her happy that day and she said, "Anna makes me happy". And then the next morning when Heather came downstairs Lucy looked at me and said, "Princess Anna woke up!".

Mary loved Becky's fish. Well, at least she did for the first and only 24 hours of his life. RIP Hercules.

She also loved the Hoemann's hamsters. Not as much as Rebecca does, but that's another story.

Lucy waiting like a grown up in the doctor's office. I took a picture because she was so cute just sitting in her chair.

Mary has gotten to point where she wants to see what I'm doing when I try to take her picture.

Christmas Vacay

Over a month ago we celebrated this little holiday called Christmas. I lost track of some of my pictures (they're in my email somewhere?). Anyway, I figured it was better to post what I have  than post nothing at all.

Having fun with cousins at Grandma Jones' house. It has been fun to see Lucy grow and learn how to play with friends. She loves her cousins.

Christmas lights!

Lucky girl

Christmas morning. I think we could have stopped at the stocking stuffers and they would have been happy.

You'll notice the girls look adorable in their matching pj's from their Aunt Mel (the jammies say, "Sweet like my Aunt". Nice plug Aunt Mel.)

Driving on Christmas day watching a movie on our DVD players for the car, while holding her Rapunzel doll. I'll say it again: Lucky girl.

We went on a walk with Grandma Bayly the day after Christmas. It was a pretty trail. Lucy had a great time for the first 7 minutes. Then she was done. She refused to walk insisting she was too tired. After finally making all the way back she somehow found her energy when she saw a place she wanted to go and said, "I'm not tired anymore!". Convenient.

Mary liked the walk.

At the play ground.

We finished Christmas vacation by going to the children's museum in Richmond. It was a lot of fun. The girls loved it.

Lucy sat down and said, "I'm the teacher!" and gave us all a lesson.

Videos of My Girls

Let's play catch up with some of my favorite videos...

Here's my sweet Mary's first birthday. Things were going great until...

A couple of months ago I posted a video of what it was like driving with the girls. Now this is what it's like. I think it's safe to say Mary is learning the art of pushing her sister's button.

This video is a contrast to the one above.

Poor Lucy

Lucy loves loves loves to sing.
