Florida

I'm finally getting around to our Florida trip to visit my dad and Gina. We had a really nice vacation. Our last hoorah before we're thrown into the real world with work schedules and no time off.

There's a pretty good chance of getting eaten by an alligator in Florida.

We went on a really nice boat ride around Naples. It went all the way out to the ocean and back. This isn't a great picture of Bryan, but Mary was so cute I wanted to post it.

Well the boat ride was really nice until a down pour for the ages hit us. They couldn't get the windows up in time to save us from a pretty good soaking. It made for a fun ending though.

It wore Lucy out

We went to this really nice playground. Lucy could have played there all day.

They had a shaded area where the kids could dig and play.

Lucy loved Grandpa's pool. We spend the last half of every day playing in the pool.

We went to the library and went to a story time.

At CiCi's pizza. Lucy ate her free meals worth that's for sure.

Grandma got her a balloon. As a side note, Lucy pronounces balloon as "a-moon".

It was only 80 degrees outside. Why not?

Beach day. We love the beach.

Mary wearing Lucy's baby swim cap.

There were unusual winds at the beach so the water had a lot of waves. Lucy didn't really like being in the water, she preferred playing in the sand.

We put the pool boat into the bath tub. It was cuteness.

At the airport going home. What we didn't know when this picture was taken was that our flight would be delayed 2.5 hours. It would have been nice to not have to wake up at 4:30am and then deal with cranky kids on the flight home.

Bryan said he's never flying with Lucy again. Other than she doesn't care about the seat belt light and kept getting scolded by the flight attendant, I don't see what the big deal was.
