Blacksburg

Last weekend we got the chance (thanks to our "mystery" employment) to go to Blacksburg for the night all expenses paid. It was such a nice family trip. The weather was perfect and we had a large hotel room where Lucy slept great. You really can't ask for more.

We stopped in Lexington on the drive home and went to Washington and Lee University.
This is Lee Chapel where Robert E. Lee had his offices when he was President of the school and his tomb is there.

Lucy got fussy and I took her out pretty quickly after we went into the chapel. Bryan apparently didn't see the signs all over that said photographs were only to be taken with permission. Oh well. Nobody stopped him.

We went on a long walk around Blacksburg and the Virginia Tech campus. It was very beautiful.

Lucy got up close and personal with the ducks.
